I finally found my dress!!!
Casablanca 1859... I just love the idea of having a simple front and WOW for the train. It's pretty much the only time that I will ever get to wear a dress with a cathedral train, so I really want to make it count! Even better... when you bustle it, all you can see is the beautiful detailing. As my maid of honor would say... Fabulous!
My new favorite thing!!! The cutest shoes ever!!!
The pictures really don't show just how purple-y and fun these shoes are, but I am so happy with them. I think they will add a really fun *POP* of color to my wedding day duds.
The "I Do" on the bottom is in green swarowski crystals. I told Kev I am going to write "Help Me" on the bottom of his shoes in crystals. lol. Our guests would be cracking up when we are kneeling at the altar.

Veil
I had a beautiful cathedral length veil custom made for me by Roxanne from Custom Stitches by Roxanne ([email protected] or www.Veils-by-Roxanne.com )
This was amazingly inexpensive (compared to bridal stores and even bridal classifieds). I wanted something long and classic with a bit of fullness to it, but super simple- no beading, no lace, no bling... just a plain cathedral length veil. The back of my dress will likely be very detailed, so I didn't want anything to take away from that. The pictures below are photos similar to my veil. Once I can get a good one of me wearing it, I will add that.

My Inspiration
I love the slightly messy, romantic look. I am not 100% sure whether I want my hair up, down or 1/2 and 1/2.
I do love this style on Eva Longoria.

I added a hair flower, because I wasn't crazy about how my comb looked. I love LOVE the hair flower, but not sure if it would work with my dress (because the pattern on my dress is more geometric than flower-y)... not sure what I am going to do at this point...
Some shots with my veil
After I took my hair down, I played around a little with my veil and (surprisingly) really liked how it looked completely down. Now I am kind of stuck. I thought I wanted it 1/2 up, 1/2 down, but ended up not being crazy about it (see trial #1)... now I kind of love all up OR all down. Ugh... decisions decisions....
